Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 23, 2026
Closure Network ("Closure Network," "we," "us," or "our") operates Connectr — a browser extension, website, and API that help professionals manage LinkedIn outreach campaigns. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use Connectr (the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is provided by Closure Network. For privacy-related requests, contact us at privacy@connectr.app.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in the following categories:
Account information
- Email address and account identifier when you sign in via magic link or backup code
- Sign-in timestamps and authentication tokens
- Product feedback you submit (bugs, feature requests, and optional context such as plan or extension version)
Billing information
- Subscription plan, trial status, billing interval, and payment history
- Stripe customer and subscription identifiers
- Payment card details are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Campaign and usage data
- Campaign configuration, lead queue metadata, activity logs, daily usage counters, and exclusion lists — primarily stored locally in your browser via the extension
- If you use Agency workspace features, certain shared list entries may sync to our API so teammates on your plan can use them
- Operational logs from our API (e.g., request timestamps, error events) for reliability and abuse prevention
Website and device data
- Browser type, approximate region from IP address, and pages visited on connectr.app
- Local storage and session storage used to keep you signed in on the marketing site
- Standard server and security logs
Optional AI assistant data
If you use an in-product assistant feature when available, prompts and responses may be transmitted to our API and processed by third-party AI providers (such as Groq) to generate replies. Do not submit sensitive personal data you are not comfortable sharing with those providers.
3. What we do not collect
- Your LinkedIn password — Connectr uses your existing browser session on linkedin.com
- Sale of your personal information to data brokers or advertisers
The extension interacts with LinkedIn pages you visit to perform automation you configure. We do not operate a separate database of LinkedIn profile contents beyond what you store in your local campaign queue and activity log.
4. How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Authenticate users and enforce subscription and trial entitlements
- Process payments, invoices, and billing portal access
- Sync workspace data for Agency plans when you enable those features
- Respond to support requests and product feedback
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues
- Improve reliability, performance, and product design
- Comply with legal obligations
5. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where applicable, we process personal data on the basis of: performance of a contract (providing the Service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, product improvement, and fraud prevention), consent (where required, such as optional marketing), and legal obligation.
6. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us run the Service, including Stripe (payments), email delivery providers (magic links), cloud hosting, and AI inference providers when assistant features are used
- Team members on Agency plans, limited to workspace list data you choose to sync
- Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and security
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy
We do not sell personal information.
7. Cookies and local storage
Our website uses local storage to remember sign-in state and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on connectr.app. The extension uses Chrome extension storage for campaigns, auth tokens, and settings on your device.
8. Data retention
- Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for tax, accounting, and dispute resolution
- Local extension data remains on your device until you uninstall the extension or clear extension storage
- Product feedback is retained to improve the Service unless you ask us to delete it
- Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and operations
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS, access controls, and hashed authentication tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your email account and browser profile.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Port data you provided in a structured format where technically feasible
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise these rights, email privacy@connectr.app. We may need to verify your identity. Deleting your account does not automatically delete local extension data — uninstall the extension to remove data stored on your device.
11. California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, California residents may request access to, deletion of, or correction of personal information we collect. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To submit a request, contact privacy@connectr.app.
12. International transfers
We may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
13. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us data.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
